Extrusion Lamination and Coating Technology
On our high-technology polyethylene extrusion line we coat and laminate paper, aluminium, metallised films, polyester (PET) and nonwoven materials with polyethylene (PE) in all narrow and wide widths.
Our extrusion coating units (2 units) are 1650 mm and 1350 mm wide and can apply polyethylene coatings of minimum 8 and maximum 60 microns. Our high-technology extrusion line also features a thickness gauge and an automatic polyethylene die, enabling multi-layer materials to be coated and laminated flawlessly at the desired weight and thickness.
To obtain flawless, high-quality products, our extrusion line and laboratory carry out base weight measurement, adhesion analysis, peel and seal analyses, nuclear thickness measurement and automatic thickness control. Our extruders are capable of processing LDPE, MDPE, PP, EVA and various copolymers and ionomers.
Printing
With our 9-colour central impression flexo and rotogravure printing machines, we print BOPP, BOPET, paper, aluminium foil and laminated multi-layer materials in wide and narrow widths.
Our printing machines feature viscosity control, full-surface material inspection systems and automatic registration systems. Pre-press and post-press services are provided by our competent and experienced staff in line with our customers' needs.
Lamination and Lacquering
With our solvent-based and solvent-free lamination technologies we combine different materials — primarily aluminium foil, BOPET and paper — to produce high-performance multi-layer packaging structures. With our experience in aluminium foil-based laminations in particular, we develop structures tailored to the product's conditions of use, for applications requiring high barrier, strong adhesion and heat and chemical resistance. Thermal lacquer applications form an important part of our areas of expertise. We apply thermal lacquer, protective lacquer, primer and functional coatings to aluminium foil and BOPET surfaces. Thanks to our controlled coating and drying processes, we aim for reliable adhesion, homogeneous coating and consistent seal performance. By combining our lamination and lacquering technologies with our printing and extrusion coating capabilities, we develop customised packaging solutions for our customers' different product and process needs.
Slitting
On our numerous high-speed slitting lines (800 metres/minute), we slit wide-width materials into narrow widths at high quality.
On all our slitting machines we use technologies such as friction shafts and laser marking to carry out slitting with high precision and care.
